Tote It pattern strikes another HIT – Teacher Totes 2009

Friday was Jared’s  & Jacob’s last day of school for this year. On a last minute whim I decided to whip up Teacher Totes as a thank you gift.  I used the Nancy Ota Tote It patternvinyl mesh and cotton webbing for the straps. The teachers *loved* their new bags!

  1. I’m a teacher and can say this is a great teacher’s gift! Very usable and CUTE!

  2. I made one of Nancy’s bags for my GD’s birthday…….for her to take to the beach. It was plenty large enough for a beach towel and whatever else she might want to take……love the mesh and it was much easier to sew with than I had thought. I plan to make another here soon for my DD. I enjoy seeing your pictures….inspires me to get going!

  3. How thoughtful of you, to make these bags for the teachers. Don’t you feel like you have cheated when you just run to the store and buy a gift, when you can make something so beatiful!
Sometimes that is when I get into trouble. We were just invited to to a new neighbors home this next Sat. I would not think of going empty handed! And I am still not finished with the quilt for a wedding on Sat. also!!
Somedays I think it just might be easier to run to the store….not!
